The sound of joyous song and salvation in the tents of the righteous
Today the tefillin-laying ceremony took place for the bochur Chaim Tzvi, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Yosef Rokeach shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Kol Eliyahu, son-in-law of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a. In honor of the simcha, the Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Talmud Torah building on Rachpert Street together with the students of the ninth grade.
The Rebbe also laid tefillin for the bochurim:
the bochur Yoel Moskowitz of Kiryas Joel
and the bochur Yoel Brody of Kiryas Joel
and the bochur Yoel, son of R' Moshe Brach of Kiryas Joel
After davening, a lechayim gathering took place, at which the Rebbe addressed the bochurim with words of guidance.
