Sunday, Parshas Haazinu, 6 Aseres Yemei Teshuva — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 5:45 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for the recitation of Selichos in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. The baal tefillah was R' Yehuda Eliezer Gottesman.

In the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Chaim Binyamin Eliezer Wertheimer took place, where the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Yoel Teichman.
the bochur Yoel Teller.
the bochur Yudel Forgacs.

After davening, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Williamsburg, where there were times for entering the inner sanctum for over 7 hours, from around 4:00 until 11:00.

Among others, HaGaon Rabbi Hershel Meisels shlit"a, rav of our Beis Medrash Beis Nachum Dov in Williamsburg, grandson of the Beirach Moshe zt"l, son of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, av beis din of our kehilla in Montreal shlit"a, and son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Leibush Teitelbaum zt"l, dayan and moreh tzedek of Yoel Moshe, entered together with his son the chassan, to receive the Rebbe's holy blessings on the occasion of the engagement, may it be in a good hour, to the daughter of HaGaon Rabbi Asher Yeshaya Rubin shlit"a, av beis din of Tomshov, who is a son-in-law of HaTzaddik R' Yirmiya Teitelbaum shlit"a. The Rebbe shlit"a warmly wished them blessings.

Also, Rabbi Chaim Bezalel Blum shlit"a, the shochet, came to show the Rebbe shlit"a the chalafim, as is customary.

At 11:30, after Maariv, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled home to his holy residence.
