Sunday, Parshas Vayeilech, 7th Selichos, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 5:45 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for the recital of Selichos in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. The baal tefillah was HaGaon R' Aryeh Dov Kornbluh shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of Shiur Dalet.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Talmud Torah building, "Binyan Hirsch Goldberger Landau," together with the talmidim of grades 6, 7 and 8 of the branch of HaRav R' Naftali Hirtzka Friedman shlit"a. Before davening, the ceremony of putting on tefillin took place for the Rebbe shlit"a's grandson, the bar mitzvah bochur Chanani Yom Tov Teitelbaum, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Yoel shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Beis Boruch.

Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a put on tefillin for the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Yaakov Markowitz.
the bochur Yoel Lichtenstein.
the bochur Meir Yehuda Eisenbach.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place, where the children sang warm rhymes in honor of the occasion. The Rebbe shlit"a drank lechayim and wished the grandson, the bar mitzvah bochur, and his son HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Yoel shlit"a, as well as the bar mitzvah bochurim and their families. Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words.

Sounds of Joy and Salvation in the Tents of the Righteous

At around 7:30 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Kinor David hall in Kiryas Joel for the bar mitzvah simcha of his grandson, the bar mitzvah bochur Chanani Yom Tov Teitelbaum, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Yoel shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Beis Boruch.

The Rebbe shlit"a washed for the bar mitzvah seudah. After the fish and the lechayim, the bar mitzvah bochur delivered his pshetl.

Speaking were HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Beis Boruch shlit"a, and the grandfather, HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Bertch shlit"a.

Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words. At bentching, the Rebbe honored his grandson, the bar mitzvah bochur.

The event concluded at around 8:40.

After the bar mitzvah, the Rebbe shlit"a comforted the mourners HaRav R' Yaakov Acker and his sons, and HaGaon R' Amram Cohen shlit"a, who are sitting shiva for the passing of his wife / their mother / his sister.
