Thursday, Parshas Ki Seitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early this morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Yosha Hersh Goldberger took place, at which the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandekaus.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Misivta "Sniff Beirach Moshe." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Yoel Reizman.
the bochur Asher Anshil Zin.

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a delivered the 9th Sugya Shiur on the sugya of "Ed Echad Ne'eman B'Issurin."

After the shiur, a group of outstanding bochurim, talmidim of the Yeshiva's Sniff Beirach Moshe, who are traveling IY"H next week on a trip to the holy places together with the yeshiva's rebbeim, entered the Rebbe's private room (kodesh penimah). The Rebbe shlit"a blessed them with holy brachos and gave shliach mitzvah money to the group's organizers.

Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a distributed "twelve challos" to the bochurim, talmidim of the yeshiva's Sniff Beirach Moshe, who had been tested on the entire masechta.

After that, a lechayim celebration was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim.

At around 4:00 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the "Maamad Kevod HaTorah V'Siyum HaZman" of the talmidim of our yeshiva, 'Misivta HaKedosha' of Satmar, in the splendid hall of the Beis Rachel Auditorium.

Among others who spoke were the distinguished mashpia R' Yosef Chaim Greenwald shlit"a; also participating was the illustrious Gaon, the Av Beis Din of Kiryas Joel shlit"a.

The siyumim on masechtos that were learned throughout all the yeshiva's branches were made by:
Sniff Divrei Yoel, a grandson of the Rebbe, the distinguished bochur Asher Anshil Ashkenazi, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Heinich shlit"a — Masechta Sukkah.
Sniff Vayoel Moshe, the distinguished bochur Yitzchak Yoel Rosenberg, son of Heinich — Masechta Kiddushin.
Sniff Beirach Moshe, the distinguished bochur Yosef Markowitz, son of Dov — Masechta Avodah Zarah.
Sniff Kedushas Yoel, the distinguished bochur Yoel Kornbluh, son of Yeshayah — Masechta Shevuos.

Then HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Simcha Shalom Steinberger shlit"a, rav of the Divrei Chaim beis medrash and rosh shiur in Sniff Vayoel Moshe, recited the Hadran and said Kaddish.

Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a drank a lechayim, blessed the rebbeim and talmidim of the yeshiva, and delivered holy words, in the course of which he spoke in praise of the yeshiva and gave lengthy words of guidance for the upcoming bein hazmanim.

R' Avrohom Yaakov Yakov shlit"a, a rebbe in the yeshiva and head of the "Yam HaTalmid" chaburah, was honored with leading the bentching. After bentching, the Rebbe shlit"a distributed certificates to the hundreds of outstanding talmidim.

In the evening, there were entry times for kodesh penimah from 7:00 until 12:00.

Also held was a "Siyum Kesivas Sefer Torah" ceremony for the Sefer Torah being written by R' Yochanan Mann, which will be brought this Sunday, the first night of Selichos, to the Halacha Berura beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe shlit"a wrote in letters, hosted a lechayim celebration, and gave holy blessings.

At around 12:30, the Skulen Rebbe of Monsey shlit"a visited the Rebbe shlit"a in kodesh penimah. A pleasant conversation took place about customs of blowing the shofar and matters of the Yom Tov season. The Rebbe shlit"a honored him with a lechayim, after which the Skulen Rebbe of Monsey shlit"a handed the Rebbe a kvitel and received holy blessings for the holy days, as the Rebbe shlit"a warmly wished him well and accompanied him out.
