Sunday, Parshas Ki Savo, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta "Sniff Kedushas Yoel". Before davening the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Tuvia Ehrenfeld.

After davening the bris of the newborn son of R' Eli Parkash took place, at which the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandekaus.

At around 2:00 in the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a came to the Heichal HaMesivta "Sniff Vayoel Moshe" to deliver the 5th sugya shiur on the sugya of 'Ed Echad Ne'eman B'Issurin', in preparation for the "Shabbos Shuva" derasha.

A Torah scholar who passed away — all are as his relatives

At about 3:45 in the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a accompanied the funeral procession of HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Menachem Tirnauer zt"l, dayan and rosh mesivta of Toras Moshe of Satmar Montreal, from his holy home.

In the evening at around 8:00 the Rebbe shlit"a came to our Beis Medrash Beis Dov in Kiryas Joel, where the celebration of the "Hachnasas Sefer Torah" took place, donated by the mispallelim of the beis medrash.

The Rebbe shlit"a danced holy dances with the Sefer Torah, and then honored HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Zabel shlit"a, dayan of the beis medrash, and HaGaon Rabbi Alter Tov shlit"a, spiritual mashpia of the beis medrash, to dance. After the dancing the Rebbe shlit"a recited L'Dovid Mizmor.

Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a affixed a mezuzah on the gate of the beis medrash at the newly built wing, looked around the new "Heichal HaTorah", and honored the donor, the distinguished R' Pinchas Shapiro, to affix a mezuzah.
