Wednesday, Parshas Ki Seitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the 'Machane Kiryas Joel' camp, which was rented by our holy mosdos in Kiryas Joel for the talmud torah boys and is located in 'Camp Monroe' in the vicinity of Kiryas Joel. He davened together with the 6th, 7th and 8th grades of the branch of HaRav R' Shlomo Noach Heilbrunn shlit"a.

Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Eli Yitzchak Rosenberg.

After davening a lechayim gathering took place, and the Rebbe shlit"a gave his holy blessings to the bar mitzvah bochur and to the children.

In the morning hours the Rebbe shlit"a visited the mehudar bakery of our holy kehilla in Kiryas Joel, where the Rebbe spent an extended time looking over the many installations and hiddurim that were put in place in preparation for the upcoming Yom Tov season.

At about 1:40 in the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a came to the Heichal HaMesivta "Branch Vayoel Moshe" to deliver the third shiur on the sugya of 'Ed Echad Ne'eman B'Issurin,' in preparation for the "Shabbos Shuva" derasha.

At about 7:00 the ceremony of "Siyum Kesivas Sefer Torah" took place in his holy home, for a Torah written by the mispallelim of our beis medrash 'Beis Dov' in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe shlit"a wrote in the letters, and afterward conducted a lechayim gathering and gave his holy blessings.

In the evening the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim, R' Eli Spitzer and R' Shalom Yitzchak Weinberger, at the Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At about 12:15 the Rebbe was visited privately by HaGaon Rabbi Aharon Bronsdorfer shlit"a, dayan and moreh tzedek of the holy kehilla of Toldos Aharon in Yerushalayim and chairman of the kashrus committee at the slaughterhouse under the Eidah HaChareidis. A fine conversation was held about the chumros and hiddurim in the mehudar slaughterhouses of our holy kehilla, and in the mehudar slaughterhouse under the Beis Din Tzedek of the Eidah HaChareidis. They also discussed the expansion of the boundaries of holiness in Kiryas Joel.
