Thursday, Parshas Shoftim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta "Sniff Beirach Moshe." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put on tefillin with the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yoel, son of R' Chaim Spitzer.

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a studied the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 5, verse 3.

Afterwards, a lechayim celebration was held with the bar mitzvah bochur.

In the afternoon, around 7:00, HaRav HaTzaddik R' Yisroel Menachem Alter shlit"a, son of the Gur Rebbe shlit"a, came for a visit in the Rebbe's private room, to invite the Rebbe and receive his holy blessings for the wedding of his child, l'mazal tov.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
Rabbi Shlomo Yosef Landau shlit"a (London) - Rabbi Yehoshua Markowitz shlit"a, at Kinor David Hall.
R' Aharon Zev Glauber - R' Yitzchak Moshe Reich, at Beis Rochel Paradise Hall.

Later that night, the Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in his holy home, in the house of the Rebbe's father-in-law zy"a, at the tenaim of the mechutanim:
R' Aharon Unger - R' Avrohom Leib Wechter.

Around 10:45, HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Tashnad-Monsey shlit"a, came for a visit in the Rebbe's private room. A lengthy conversation took place about the town of Tashnad and about yeshivos back home. The Rebbe shlit"a honored him with a lechayim, wished him blessings, and accompanied him out to the door.

Also visiting was HaGaon Rabbi Yaakov Weiss shlit"a, one of the rabbonim of our kehilla in Monsey, together with Rabbi Aharon Yekusiel Berkowitz, a member of the education committee of our holy mosdos in Monsey, in preparation for the upcoming exalted Shabbos among the chassidim of Monsey, Shabbos Kodesh Parshas Shoftim.
