The residents of Monsey are wrapped in holy excitement as they prepare to spend Shabbos Kodesh in the holy presence of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

With great joy and elevated spirit, the chassidim of Monsey are preparing for the uplifting visit of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, who will spend the exalted Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Shoftim, 6 Elul, the yahrzeit of his grandfather, the holy Rabbi, the Yetev Lev zy"a, in the "city and mother in Israel" of Monsey, to strengthen and elevate the building of our holy mosdos in Monsey, which is being built these days for the sake of Heaven and for glory. As every year, the Rebbe shlit"a observes the yahrzeit of the Yetev Lev in the midst of our holy kehilla in Monsey.

After a break of 6 years, they will once again merit that the Rebbe shlit"a will spend Shabbos among the chassidim of Monsey. At the same time, the askanim are investing intensive work to prepare the enormous building of our Great Beis Medrash in Monsey, beginning with the hall of the Great Beis Medrash for the exalted tefillos, which is being fitted with the maximum number of seats. In the gigantic building beneath the Great Beis Medrash, which was purchased by our holy mosdos for the use of the talmidei Torah, the Rebbe shlit"a will conduct the holy tishen "before Hashem," as well as the exalted Seudas Raava D'Raavin, which is being prepared with hundreds of seats and tall benches along both sides, and with a special area inside for the ezras nashim, in order to accommodate the large crowd of hundreds of chassidim from Monsey who will come to bask in the Rebbe's presence and experience a Shabbos in the holy presence.

The Shabbos day seudah, Seudah Atika Kadisha , the Rebbe shlit"a will conduct at the home hosting him, in the house of the distinguished R' Moshe Yosef Hartman, in a private setting together with a small number of close supporters, philanthropists and patrons of the mosdos who contributed larger sums to the multi-million dollar project of building the mighty fortresses for Beis Rachel.

In the afternoon hours, the Rebbe shlit"a will deliver a shiur on Pirkei Avos, where there will be an opportunity to enjoy his holy words, beautiful derashos and aggadah, words of mussar and guidance for the days of Elul that penetrate the innermost chambers, and chizuk regarding the trials and afflictions of the times, and more.

After Pirkei Avos, the Rebbe shlit"a will go over to the Tehillim society of the Tashbar and impart holy blessings.

Afterwards, the exalted Seudas Raava D'Raavin will take place, when the Rebbe shlit"a will warm the hearts of the chassidim with the fiery Shalosh Seudos Torah in words of mussar and inspiration, to enkindle the hearts of Israel.

On Sunday afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a will return to Monsey, when there will be times of entry into the holy chamber, in anticipation of the days of mercy and favor, to be remembered for salvation and mercy for the chassidim of Monsey.
