Sunday, Parshas Shoftim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris took place of the newborn son of R' Yoel Fishel Fried, at which the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandakus and as mohel.

Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Moshe Eliezer Rosenfeld.

Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a set out on his annual visit to the camps of our holy mosdos in Williamsburg and Boro Park.

At around 10:20, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the boys' camp "Machane Rav Tov" in Monticello.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis together with the talmidim of grades 6, 7 and 8. Before davening, the ceremony of putting on tefillin for the grandson of the Rebbe shlit"a, the bar mitzvah boy, the bochur Yekusiel Yehuda, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, took place.

Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Asaf Wolberg,
son of Rabbi Asher Chaim Weiser,
the bochur Yeshua Dovid Waldman,
the bochur Shmuel Shlomo Teller.

At Hallel, the Rebbe shlit"a approached and led the davening before the amud with great fervor.

For Mussaf, HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, led the davening.

After davening, a lechayim celebration was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:50, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the dining hall and looked around with satisfaction at the campers during Birkas Hamazon.

Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the batei medrash of the campers, where the Rebbe surveyed the learning with tremendous satisfaction, walking among the tables and listening to the boys learn.

First the Rebbe went through the older classes of the branch of R' Yoel Stern shlit"a, the branch of R' Yoel Meir Friedman shlit"a, the branch of R' Zerach Shapiro shlit"a, and the branch of R' Moshe Eliyahu Green shlit"a. And afterwards the rooms of grades 1, 2 and 3.

In particular, the Rebbe shlit"a listened with satisfaction for a longer time to his great-grandson, the young boy, son of HaRav HaGaon R' Yoel HaKohen Glanz shlit"a, son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din and Rav of our kehilla in Williamsburg shlit"a.

After the visit to the batei medrash, all the campers gathered in the dining hall for the reception ceremony for the Rebbe shlit"a. The children sang warm rhymes in honor of the occasion. The Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to the campers, and then delivered holy words of mussar and chizuk in preparation for the days of Elul, and concluded with his holy blessing. Afterwards, shirayim was distributed to all the children.

At around 4:00, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived for a visit to the bochurim's camp "Machane Rav Tov" in Swan Lake.

Upon arrival, the Rebbe went straight to the batei medrash where the bochurim learn. The Rebbe looked around with great satisfaction, walking among the tables and listening to the bochurim's learning, first in the beis medrash of the talmidim of grade 9 of our holy mosdos in Boro Park, under the direction of HaRav HaGaon R' Akiva Yosef Kahana shlit"a, and then in the beis medrash of the talmidim of grade 9 of our holy mosdos in Williamsburg, under the direction of HaRav HaGaon R' Yuda Ber Teller shlit"a.

Afterwards, at around 4:35, a lechayim celebration was held with the bochurim in the beis medrash.
Rhymes were sung, the Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to the campers, and then delivered holy words of mussar and chizuk in preparation for the days of Elul, and concluded with his holy blessing. Afterwards, shirayim was distributed to the bochurim.

At around 5:30, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at Machane Bais Rochel. First, the Rebbe delivered very powerful words of mussar and guidance, particularly regarding matters of tznius, to all the students.

Afterwards, at around 6:00, the Rebbe walked over to the country, accompanied by the heads of the Kiryas, where the ceremony of "affixing the mezuzah and chanukas habayis" took place for the new beis medrash Bais Avrohom Yosef V'Sarah, of Machane Bais Rochel. Upon arrival at the beis medrash, the Rebbe shlit"a distributed the holy sefer Lev Aharon to the kollel members at Machane Bais Rochel. The Rebbe then conducted the lechayim celebration and delivered holy words. Afterwards, the distinguished chassid R' Meir Hirsch, director of the mosdos, affixed the mezuzah.

From there the Rebbe went to the guest house, to the home of R' Chaim Hersh Oberlander.
