Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Re'eh, Mevarchim Chodesh Elul, in the Shadow of Holiness with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

On Friday night at around 8:50 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash and went to Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos was led by HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Menachem Weiss shlit"a, Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta of our holy kehilla in London.

After davening, the appeal for the holy mosdos "Chochmas Lev" took place. Afterwards the crowd went over to say Good Shabbos.

A short time after davening, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Shulchan Aruch (Friday night seudah) together with the talmidim of the mesivta.

Eishes Chayil: the grandson, the bochur Meir Eliezer Teitelbaum, son of HaGaon Rabbi Baruch shlit"a.

Lifting the cup for Kiddush: HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum shlit"a, dayan of our holy kehilla in Yerushalayim.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "See, I place before you today a blessing," and explained, in the manner of a derush, the sugya of an eved whose master redeemed him for the sake of servitude, and regarding an animal that was created through Sefer Yetzirah, whether it has the halachic status of meat.
