Part 2 of the report, Wednesday, 26 Av, the yahrzeit of the Rebbe, "B'tzeil HaKodesh"

In the afternoon at around 8:25, the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha in his holy home. The Rebbe shlit"a lit 5 candles and led the davening as chazzan. After Mincha, the Rebbe shlit"a walked over to the Beis Medrash HaGadol. It was around 8:50 when the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered the central seudas hilula and siyum HaShas, "in the beis medrash of the Baal HaHilula, the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Kiryas Joel." The Rebbe shlit"a washed his hands and immediately made the siyum HaShas and recited Kaddish. At the lechayim after the fish, the Rebbe shlit"a wished, "May his merit protect us and all of Israel." During the seudah, they sang the nigunim of deveikus and hisorerus that were sung by the Baal HaHilula, the Rebbe zy"a. The Rebbe shlit"a honored HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Chaim Yosef Wertzberger shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Hunyad, Kiryas Joel, one of the Rebbe's talmidim, with the Michtam L'Dovid.

At around 10:00, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words in his brilliant manner, words of chizuk and mussar, and on the pressing matters of the day, especially regarding the gravity of not observing "Rabbeinu Tam's time" in Kiryas Joel and the surrounding areas on all sides, and the directive of the founder of the town, the Rebbe zy"a, to observe Rabbeinu Tam, and a halachic ruling that obligates all residents of Kiryas Joel and the surrounding areas.

After the address, the Rebbe shlit"a recited a blessing over the cup and distributed the cup of blessing. Afterward, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in the Beis Medrash HaGadol.
