Tuesday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, the "Snif Veyoel Moshe."

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a studied the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 5, verse 3: "Hearken to the sound of my cry, my King and my G-d, for to You I pray. Hashem, in the morning You hear my voice," with words of mussar and chizuk about learning in the early morning before davening.

In the morning, as previously reported, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi R' Chaim Meir Kahn shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak in Beitar, son of the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe shlit"a, paid a private visit to the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in his holy home. A splendid conversation took place on Torah, Chassidus, and stories of tzaddikim.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in the holy home of the Rebbe's father-in-law zy"a, at the tenaim of the mechutanim:
R' Tzadok Heilbrunn, chosson of HaGaon HaChassid, the mashpia Rabbi Yosef Chaim Greenwald shlit"a — and the distinguished philanthropist R' Yoel Epstein.

At about 10:20, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi R' Yisroel Moshe Fried shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Neustadt in Lakewood, paid a private visit to the Rebbe shlit"a.

At about 11:30, on the night of the holy hilula, the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Maariv in the beis medrash in his holy home. The Rebbe shlit"a lit 5 candles and then led the davening as shliach tzibbur for Maariv. After Maariv, the Rebbe shlit"a wished, "A good night, may the great merit of the Baal HaHilula protect us and all of Yisroel."
