Tonight, 26 Menachem Av, is the 42nd yahrzeit of our holy Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zy"a. Tens of thousands of Jews will visit the holy kever in the beis hachaim of our holy kehilla in Kiryas Joel and daven in the merit of that tzaddik to be remembered for salvation and mercy.

Intensive preparations are underway at the beis hachaim of our holy kehilla in Kiryas Joel, his resting place, by the devoted chevra kadisha, where a huge tent has also been set up next to the holy kever for the recitation of Tehillim. A special system has also been arranged to enable everyone to enter the holy ohel to place a kvitel at the kever, in order to accommodate the multitudes of Jews.

Beginning tonight, several yahrzeit seudos will take place in our batei medrash around the world.

Members of our community will light candles, say Tehillim, learn mishnayos, and give tzedakah for the elevation of the pure soul of our Rebbe Yoel ben Rebbe Chananya Yom Tov.
