Monday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta, "Divrei Yoel branch." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Yoel Wiesel.
the bochur Yaakov Mordechai Landau.
the bochur Mordechai Leib Zwebel.
the bochur Yechezkel Yechiel Michel Weingarten.

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a taught the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 5, verse 3, "Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I pray," with words of mussar not to wait until the last minute, when the question becomes difficult: "If I am a king, why until now did you not come to me?" Rather, "the wise man has his eyes in his head" — now at the beginning of the days of mercy and favor, Rosh Chodesh Elul, when the King comes, we should greet Him, so that later the question will not arise.

Afterwards, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash, where a beautiful conversation was held about the Divrei Yoel zt"l.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim held in his holy home, of the Rebbe zy"a, for the following mechutanim:
HaGaon Rabbi Chaim Elazar Weiss shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Chamelnik Monsey - R' Asher Yeshaya Feuerstein.
R' Yaakov son of R' Shimi Kessler - R' Yoel son of R' Aharon Kaufman.

At around 10:40, the Shatz Bnei Brak Rebbe shlit"a visited the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a. He is staying in Kiryas Joel these days for the benefit of the "Noam Elimelech" institutions, which are under his leadership. The Rebbe shlit"a honored him with a lechayim, and a pleasant conversation ensued about the institutions and about the recent bitter events affecting Klal Yisroel. Among other things, the esteemed Rebbe shlit"a pointed to R' Shlomo Mendlowitz, chairman of the "Ezer Hatzalah" organization, regarding his activities to help the administrators. Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a wished him holy blessings and escorted him out to the street.
