Report
Today, at the daily Tehillim shiur in Heichal HaMesivta, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a spoke about the difficult days of the epidemic that Klal Yisroel is going through. The Rebbe shlit"a mentioned that, unfortunately, the situation has worsened in recent days, and the Rebbe shlit"a concluded with a request to the Ribono Shel Olam that the batei medrash remain open so that people can come to daven.

King David says in Tehillim, chapter 5, "Hearken to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I pray." This can be understood as follows: We all remember not so long ago, the difficult times Klal Yisroel experienced, when batei medrash and shuls were closed, and people couldn't come to the beis medrash to daven, and couldn't daven with a minyan, only in courtyards. "Jews davened, Jews begged, and Baruch Hashem the situation improved." But recently the illness has become somewhat harder again, and who knows what the day will bring. Hashem runs the world; what will happen next, no one can foretell. Jews plead: "Hearken to the sound of my cry, my King and my God," hear my prayer, "for to You I pray," that we should be able to daven, that we should be able to come to the beis medrash, that batei medrash should not be shut down, that shuls should not be shut down, so that we can daven. We make a request to the Ribono Shel Olam: "Hearken to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I pray." We want to be able to come daven in the batei medrash and in the shuls during the holy days and throughout the year.
