The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at 8:50. Mincha: HaRav HaChassid R' Yaakov Yosef Filaf. Hotzaah and Hachnasa: R' Yeshaya Knapler. Kohen: R' Zusha Rubin, Williamsburg. Levi: R' Yoel son of R' Mordechai Reizman, Lakewood. Shlishi: R' Shmuel Zinwil Wertheimer, Monsey. Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: the Av Beis Din of Sekelheid shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored others with leading the zemiros at Shalosh Seudos. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen. Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein. During the Torah discourse, the Rebbe shlit"a built on the verse "V'hayah eikev tishmeun" and explained, in words of mussar, that when the days of mercy and favor arrive and a Jew wants to do teshuvah before Hashem, the claim is raised: "If I am the king, why until now did you not come to me?" However, this applies only to a servant toward his master, but not to a child toward a father, because a father does not ask such questions. In order to be called "children of the Omnipresent," it is not enough to fulfill the mitzvos of the Torah; one must also add safeguards and fences, and then one can merit complete teshuvah. At the end of the discourse, the Rebbe concluded with the holy blessings: "May Hashem help that we enter into these elevated, holy times, the days of mercy and favor, days on which we can arouse the attribute of mercy for all of Klal Yisroel. 'And no violence or destruction shall be heard in the House of Israel' - may we not hear any bitter tidings, may we hear only good and kindness for all of Klal Yisroel, and may we merit the elevation of the glory of Torah and Israel, with the revelation of Heaven's glory upon us, speedily in our days."

On Motzei Shabbos, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of the Rebbe zy"a. After Havdalah, everyone went over to wish a gutte voch.
