On Friday night at around 8:50 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Yaakov Hersh Teitelbaum of Lakewood.

After davening, the appeal for the holy mosdos "Keren Hatzalah" took place. Afterwards they proceeded to say "Gut Shabbos."

A short while after davening, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Shabbos seudah together with the talmidim of the Mesivta.

Before Kiddush, the Rebbe shlit"a ordered that cups be brought in, and honored HaGaon R' Efraim Zalman Sternbuch, son of the Posek HaDor, Maran Rav Av Beis Din of Yerushalayim shlit"a, and HaRav HaTzaddik R' Yaakov Kahana, the Spinka Rebbe of Boro Park, to make Kiddush. The one who raised the cup for Kiddush was HaGaon R' Efraim Zalman Sternbuch shlit"a.

For the zemiros, the Rebbe shlit"a gave the following honors: Kol Mekadesh: HaRav HaGaon R' Avrohom Shmuel Englander shlit"a, dayan of our holy kehilla in Lakewood; Menucha V'Simcha: the Spinka Rebbe of Boro Park shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "V'haya eikev tishmeun," and explained in the manner of a derush the sugya of stealing from a gentile.
