Come and gather for the hilula of the Rebbe

This Shabbos Kodesh is the Shabbos before the holy hilula of the Rosh Chaver HaGaon, our holy and pure Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zy"a. His successor, who continues his path in holiness, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, will hold the Shabbos before the hilula in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe will lead the tefillos as customary, and at the tish on the night of Shabbos Kodesh he will relate stories and accounts of his uncle, the holy Rebbe, the Baal HaHilula zt"l, and speak about his illuminating teachings.

At the same time, tens of thousands of Satmar chassidim, students and followers, are preparing with holy excitement for the 42nd holy yahrzeit this coming Wednesday, 26 Av. Beginning Motzei Shabbos, many Melaveh Malkah seudos will be held in our batei medrash around the world.

Great preparations are also underway in the city of the Baal HaHilula, "Kiryas Melech Rav, Kiryas Joel," at the cemetery of our holy kehilla, to accommodate the tens of thousands of Jews who come to pour out their hearts and pray for salvation at the holy resting place, and at the central grand hilula seudah in the Baal HaHilula's beis medrash, the great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel, headed by his successor and occupant of his seat in holiness, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.
