Gelilah: the bochur Raphael son of R' Moshe Yosef Wertheimer.

At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe shlit"a honored his grandson Rabbi Yokel with "Odeh" and R' Shmuel Eckstein with "Shir HaMaalos." At the Torah, the Rebbe based himself on the masorah of the three times the word "nachnu" appears, and explained it in the way of mussar: everyone knows that "their hearts were touched" is a visit, but there is a straightforward homiletic reading that Jewish children believe in the one single Creator, "He is One and there is no second." Therefore, even if there is a flaw, it has the law of a woman who broke something in her husband's house. He continued with words of mussar about being careful with the positive commandment of reciting Krias Shema at its proper time. Now, in these days when we mourn the destruction of Yerushalayim, which came about because they neglected the recital of Shema morning and evening, we must reflect: "Any generation in which the Beis HaMikdash is not rebuilt, it is as if it was destroyed in its days." People are lax with the positive commandments, even if one recites Shema at its proper time. But mitzvos require intent, and one must have proper intent. In this merit, may we merit "these days will be transformed into joy and gladness."
