=Part 2 – Continuation of the Shabbos Kodesh Report, Parshas Pinchas=

Around 3:00 the Rebbe entered for the zemiros at the Shabbos day seudah. Kugel and lechayim were brought in. For the zemiros, the Rebbe honored the following: Baruch Hashem Yom Yom: R' Yitzchak Ehrenfeld; Baruch Kel Elyon: R' Yitzchak Teitelbaum. The Torah thought was on the verse "Pinchas ben Elazar ben Aharon HaKohen," and the Rebbe explained in the manner of a derush why it was necessary to trace his lineage to Aharon. Bentching: R' Yisroel HaKohen Landau. They concluded at 4:00.

For Mincha and Shalosh Seudos, the Rebbe entered at 8:55 and approached the amud for Mincha in honor of the yahrzeit. After Kaddish the Rebbe put on the tallis (atifas hatallis). Hotzaah and hachnasah: R' Aharon Schwartz; Kohen: R' Aharon Mendel Weiss; Levi: the bochur Levi Apfel; Shlishi: R' Chaim Yaakov Lebovits; Hagbah: the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a; Gelilah: the bochur Meir Mendel Weiss.
At Shalosh Seudos, "milchige foods," butter and coffee, were brought in, as was the minhag of the Divrei Chaim zy"a and one of the Three Weeks customs, as is the practice of our holy Rebbes zy"a.
The Rebbe honored the following: Odeh: R' Meir Wertheimer; Shir HaMaalos: R' Zusha Neustadt. For the Torah thought, the Rebbe based himself on the verse "Pinchas ben Elazar ben Aharon HaKohen" and on the holy Zohar, "Shema b'ni musar avicha v'al titosh toras imecha." He explained in the manner of mussar that through the Torah one learns in the womb together with the angel, one can reach true understanding of the holy Torah, and through this one can overcome the difficult tests of the yetzer hara. Yedid Nefesh: HaGaon R' Wolf Aharon Teller; Kel Mistater: R' Mordechai Shabsi Simon. The Rebbe blessed the cup. At Maariv on Motzei Shabbos, the Rebbe davened at the amud in honor of the yahrzeit this week of his ancestor, the Yismach Moshe zy"a. After Havdalah, people went over to wish a gutte voch. They concluded at 11:30.

Around 12:40 the Rebbe entered for the Melaveh Malkah in honor of the yahrzeit on Thursday of his ancestor, the holy Yismach Moshe zy"a. The Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Yisroel Dishonski, son of HaGaon Rabbi Dovid Dov, made a siyum on Maseches Eruvin. The Rebbe tasted and wished lechayim. The zemiros for Motzei Shabbos were sung, and the Rebbe related holy stories about his ancestor, the baal hahilula. As he got up, the Rebbe said, "...His merit should protect us. A gutte voch, may it be a healthy one..." They concluded at 1:30.
