🌴 Parshas Pinchas, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a at the vacation location in Bethlehem, New Hampshire - Part 1 - 🌴

=Sunday, 17 Tammuz=

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel.
"For He will command His angels for you, to guard you in all your ways." At about 1:25, the Rebbe left his holy home in Kiryas Joel on the way to Bethlehem, New Hampshire, where the Rebbe is spending a period of rest.
On the way, the Rebbe, as was reported, called the distinguished philanthropist R' Fishel Rispler to thank him for the Mishnas Meir Zelig learning seder on the nights of Shabbos eve throughout the summer days (see the additional report in the previous reports).
"When the tzaddik is in the city, he is its glory, its splendor, and its majesty." At about 7:05, the Rebbe arrived at the vacation location.
At about 9:15, the Rebbe came to Mincha and Maariv in the Kahal Yireim beis medrash in Bethlehem.

=Monday=

At about 8:30, the Rebbe came to Shacharis in the Kahal Yireim beis medrash. During davening the Rebbe did not say Tachanun, but said Tefilla L'Dovid, and did not say the "Yehi Ratzon" after Tehillim, as was the custom of his uncle, the Rebbe zy"a, when the Rebbe would be away resting. After davening, people went to greet the Rebbe.

"Those who hope in Hashem will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles." During the morning hours the Rebbe went for a walk in the countryside, where he held wonderful conversations in Torah and Chassidus, holy customs and stories of tzaddikim, and matters of current concern, a walk that was "like cold water to a weary soul," which will not be forgotten by the participants.

=Tuesday=

At about 8:45, the Rebbe came to Shacharis in the Kahal Yireim beis medrash. Before davening the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yisroel Henoch Kraus of Kiryas Joel. After davening a lechayim gathering took place in the hall of the beis medrash, where a long, wonderful conversation was held with the Rebbe's chavrusa, HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Rosh Chochmah shlit"a, and HaGaon R' Wolf Aharon Teller, director of Mivtzar HaKollelim in Kiryas Joel. They discussed beautiful topics in Torah and the customs of making a Shehecheyanu blessing at a bar mitzvah. The Rebbe related a story about his ancestor, the holy Yetev Lev zy"a, and said that it is not one's own enjoyment, and that "every day it is with extra freshness." They also discussed topics of blessings over enjoyments, time-bound positive commandments, and preparation for a mitzvah, and more. The Rebbe also related the question that arose last year on the seventh day of Pesach after the Rebbetzin tlit"a came home from the hospital and had already come upstairs in the morning, baruch Hashem, but had not yet heard the Kiddush of the night of Yom Tov nor made a Shehecheyanu. The Rebbe instructed a grandson to make the Kiddush of the night "with a Shehecheyanu" so as to fulfill the obligation of the Rebbetzin, saying that he must make a Shehecheyanu "for the joy of seeing the grandmother come home after being in the hospital for a longer time."
On the way out, the Rebbe looked at the construction work enlarging the beis medrash because of the great number of people, bli ayin hara, who come to take part in the radiant Shabbosos b'tzeil hakodesh in New Hampshire. On the way home the Rebbe inquired of the owners of "Sherman's Hotel" about the hotel, where many chassidim are staying while spending time b'tzeil hakodesh in New Hampshire. They also discussed the custom of the Divrei Yoel zy"a not to say Tachanun when away from home.
