Friday afternoon at 9:10 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash and went up to daven Mincha, Kabbalas Shabbos: HaRav R' Binyamin Zev Fuchs.

After davening, the appeal for the "Kollel Torah V'Yirah" of our holy kehilla in Williamsburg took place.

After davening, the mispallelim went over to wish a gut Shabbos. A short time after davening, the Rebbe entered the Friday night seudah together with the talmidim of the Mesivta. Eishes Chayil: the grandson, the bochur Meir Eliezer. Kol Mekadesh: his grandson Rabbi Lipa Rubin, a chassan of HaGaon R' Baruch. The Rebbe said Torah on the verse "Ki merosh tzurim er'enu," and explained, in the manner of derush, the matter of the word "es" being expounded. Stories and anecdotes: This week the Rebbe related about his grandfather, the holy Tolchava Rav zy"a, the father-in-law of our master and teacher the holy Yitev Lev zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls on Monday, 18 Tammuz. After davening, brissen took place for the newborn son of R' Hillel Meir Friedman and the newborn son of R' Moshe Aharon Filipf. They finished at 12:55.

At the Shabbos day seudah, the talmidim of our yeshiva, "Yeshiva Gedolah Shiur Dalet," together with the rebbeim of the yeshiva, had the privilege of dining at a private gathering in his holy home. At around 1:05 the Rebbe entered for Kiddush. A short time after Kiddush the Rebbe entered and washed for the seudah. During the seudah, they had the privilege that the Rosh Yeshiva, HaGaon R' Ari Dov Kornbluh shlit"a, posed the questions of the talmidim on matters of Torah and Chassidus and on topics of halacha and hashkafa, and the Rebbe answered with sound reasoning and wisdom.
During the zemiros the Rebbe honored the following: Baruch Hashem Yom Yom: the choice bochur Elimelech Weiss, son of HaGaon R' Chaim Eliezer, Av Beis Din of Chomelnik Monsey. Baruch Kel Elyon: the choice bochur Yosef Asher, son of R' Shmuel Yehuda Felberbaum of Williamsburg. Bentching: HaRav R' Yitzchak Yaakov Rosenfeld, one of the roshei yeshiva. They finished at around 3:45.

At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe honored the following: Odeh: R' Chaim Rothstein. Shir HaMaalos: R' Yitzchak Weingarten of Williamsburg. At the Torah, the Rebbe took the verse "Ki merosh tzurim er'enu" and explained, in the manner of mussar, that through the power of engaging in Torah one can emerge from the 50 gates of impurity, and one can do teshuva even for the three severe aveiros. Yedid Nefesh: R' Zalman Leib Friedman. Kel Mistater: R' Yehuda Hersh Shaper. The Rebbe bentched on the cup and said Sheva Brachos. Maariv on Motzei Shabbos the Rebbe davened before the amud. After Havdalah the mispallelim went over to wish a gut voch. On leaving, they accompanied the Rebbe with "Ki Malachav" on the occasion of his trip to New Hampshire for rest. They finished at 11:20.
