Last night, Monday of Parshas Balak, the "Kinus Avreichei Satmar" gathering took place in the halls of the Continental in Williamsburg, for the benefit of the heritage of our forefathers, "Mosdos Yatev Lev in Eretz Yisroel." At around 8:00, the chairman of the event, the distinguished R' Meir Mordechai Berkowitz, opened the gathering and delighted the audience with gracious words of wisdom.
During the event, the renowned chazzan R' Shlomo Zalman Horowitz delighted the audience with songs and melodies, accompanied by a choir.
Among other items, a very rich "panel" took place between R' Meir Mordechai and HaRav R' Meir Perl, the CEO of Mosdos Yatev Lev in America, and HaRav R' Mendel Unger, the accountant.

At around 10:35, our teacher HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva shlit"a, began the "Drashas Chovas HaShaah." The Rav shlit"a spoke at length in praise of, and about the obligation of, supporting Mosdos Yatev Lev. Among other things, the Rav expressed his holy feelings about the uplifting "Shabbos Meron," saying that although they were physically in "Tzfas," they were in fact in Meron! He conveyed that even when one is here, "when one supports Mosdos Yatev Lev, one is in Eretz Yisroel." The Rav also spoke about his memories of the Yatev Lev dinners of the last few years in the days of our holy Rebbe zy"a, which took place here in the halls of the "Continental," and conveyed his holy feelings: "...The sight, the awe, and the feelings one received when seeing how the Rebbe z"l exerted himself - he no longer came so often, hardly at all, but to the Yatev Lev dinner he came and graced the gathering..."
The Rav said, "To this very day I am grateful to my father, who used to take me to all the gatherings, even when it was announced in cheder that it was not made for boys."
Among other things, the Rav shlit"a also related a personal miracle he recently experienced through supporting Mosdos Yatev Lev, and at the end of the address the Rav conveyed his feelings about supporting Mosdos Yatev Lev and said that he now wished to join the new partners and take the merit of "supporting a teacher for a week."

At around 10:40, in the middle of the Rav's address, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a arrived.

After the address, the chairman R' Meir Mordechai announced that all those who take upon themselves "now at the event" the merit of "supporting a teacher for a week" will receive the merit for $600 instead of $780, with the remaining $180 to be paid by two distinguished philanthropists, HaRav R' Moshe Elazar Landau and HaRav R' Yoshe Waldman.

At around 11:20, the Rebbe delivered holy words and the keynote address of the event, speaking about the esteem that our holy Rebbes, the Divrei Yoel and the Beirach Moshe zy"a, had for "Mosdos Yatev Lev," which were among their most important institutions!! This was the first institution that the holy Rebbe zy"a established after the war. He conveyed the importance of supporting such a holy institution and expressed that "all the mosdos of the Eidah HaChareidis in Eretz Yisroel are holy, but one must know that Mosdos Yatev Lev is the Holy of Holies!!" He then concluded with very warm holy blessings.

After the holy words, the dozens of men who took upon themselves the merit of supporting "a teacher for a week" had the privilege to go over and personally hand the pledge forms to the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.
