🌴 Sunday, Parshas Balak — "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a 🌴

Upon leaving the mikvah, the Rebbe approached the "Campaign Tish" in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel, for the world-renowned "Merkaz Ezra V'Yeitzah" for the rescue of Jewish bochurim in Eretz Yisroel. The askanim and the illustrious HaGaon, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, were present. The conscription situation was discussed, and the Rebbe gave his holy blessings to those engaged in the holy work.

Before davening, the bris of the newborn son of R' Naftali Hersh Landau took place, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in our yeshiva "Mesivta Hakedosha," Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim: the bochur Yoel Moskowitz, the bochur Yoel Kaufman, the bochur Yaakov Yitzchak Oberlander, and the bochur Pinchas Azriel Mann of London.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 5, verses 2–3.
Afterward, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim.

Afterward, the yeshiva's director, HaGaon Rabbi R' Kalman Halberstam, Av Beis Din of Sanz, Kiryas Joel, entered the Rebbe's private room together with students of the yeshiva, the "askanim for the writing of a Sefer Torah" that will be donated to the yeshiva. The Rebbe looked over the start of the writing and gave his holy blessing.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe participated in the simcha of the "Hachnasas Sefer Torah" that was donated to Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe of our holy kehilla in Kiryas Joel by R' Yoel Friedrich, in memory of his daughter a"h. The Rebbe led the holy dancing, and honored the HaGaon, rav of the beis medrash shlit"a, and the baalei simcha with dancing. Afterward, the Rebbe recited "Le'Dovid Mizmor" and led a lechayim gathering. Songs were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and gave his holy blessings to the baal simcha, and then said a few brief holy blessings to the entire gathering.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Yoel Sofer, son of the Av Beis Din of Buenos Aires, and R' Yosef Mendel Friedrich, at Kinor David hall,
and at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Shlomo Yehuda Steinmetz and R' Ari Dov Kornbluh, at Beis Rochel Paradise hall.

Later, the Rebbe read the tenaim at the tenaim held in the home of the Rebbe's holy father-in-law zy"a, of the mechutanim R' Moshe Yekusiel Schwartz and R' Naftali Freund,
and at the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Avrohom Mendel Wertheimer and R' Yitzchak Menachem Berger.
