After davening, everyone went over to wish a gut Shabbos. A short while after davening, the Rebbe entered the Friday night seudah together with the talmidim of the Mesivta. At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe honored R' Noach Gafen with Odeh; Shir HaMaalos: R' Eliezer Lev of London. At the Torah, the Rebbe spoke on the verse "Zos chukas haTorah" and explained in the manner of mussar that through Jews being united, one is saved from plagues and suffering, especially now in the month of Tammuz when the Beis HaMikdash was destroyed because of baseless hatred, and by increasing love, brotherhood, peace and friendship, we will merit the "expression of affection."
