'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a 🌴

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in our yeshiva "Mesivta HaKedoshah", the Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim: the son of HaGaon R' Avrohom Meir Yaakov Moskowitz z"l, the bochur Chaim Shlomo Wertheimer, the bochur Yoel Feuerstein, the bochur Shimon Dovid Moshe Weiss, the bochur Chaim Yosef Bentzion Reiss, and the bochur Mordechai Shimi Kaufman.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 4, verse 8. The Rebbe mentioned the story of Rabbi Akiva, who rejoiced when he saw the success of the wicked, because "if this is how it is for those who transgress His will, all the more so for those who do His will." He said that when one comes from Eretz Yisroel and sees a treif city with tall buildings and so on, and sees that a wicked kingdom is faring well, one remembers Rabbi Akiva and "if this is how it is for those who transgress His will, all the more so for those who do His will." This is what Dovid HaMelech says, "You have put joy in my heart," through "more than when their grain and wine increased," when one sees that the wicked lack nothing.
After the shiur, the talmidim of the yeshiva passed by to greet the Rebbe.

Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash, where a beautiful shmuess was held on the teachings of the holy Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zt"l.

In the morning, the Rebbe arrived in Williamsburg, where the Sheva Brachos simcha took place at the home of his brother, the Rav of our kehilla 15 shlit"a. The chosson, the son-in-law of HaGaon R' Avrohom Meir Halberstam, dayan of our kehilla 18, b"p, was hosted by his great-uncle, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a (after the Rebbe had been at the holy resting place in Meron at the time of the wedding) in the Heichal of the Yeshiva Ketana "Heichal HaTorah" of Williamsburg, for the grandchildren of the holy Rebbe zy"a and for the talmidim of the yeshiva, where the father of the chosson serves as maggid shiur.

Afterwards, the Rebbe arrived on a surprise visit at the Heichal of our kollel "Torah V'Yirah" in our great beis medrash, where the Rebbe looked in on the kollel members, accompanied by the rosh hakollel HaGaon R' Hirtzka Zwebel shlit"a. The Rebbe engaged in pilpul with the learners and derived tremendous nachas.

In the evening, at the Rebbe's holy home, the leading mayoral candidate "Eric Adams" came to visit the Rebbe, together with the leadership of our holy Williamsburg kehilla with the "Askanim Vote Committee" and the head of the askanim, Rabbi Naftali Moshe Indig.
"Adams" promised to stand on the side of the chareidi Jewish community, and in particular regarding the education decree, not to interfere with our chinuch (he expressed that on the contrary, he wants to emulate it among the gentiles).
The Rebbe gave his holy blessings and, among other things, expressed that we will not forget what he did for Kiryas Joel and the difficult times several years ago regarding the annexation.

Afterwards, the community-endorsed candidate for City Council, "Lincoln Restler," visited, and later the community-endorsed second-choice candidate for mayor, "Andrew Yang," received the holy blessings, where they promised to stand on the side of pure chinuch and for the chareidi Jewish community in general and in particular.
