Open the gates and let the tzaddik enter: On Tuesday, Parshas Korach, the third day on which "ki tov" was doubled, at 10:20 in the morning, the plane of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a landed in Eretz Yisroel. At around 11:05 the Rebbe came out of the airport and was received by the rabbonim, the dayanim and the leadership of our holy kehilla in Eretz Yisroel. Niggunim were sung and greetings of shalom were exchanged. At around 11:30 the Rebbe arrived in Savyon, where the Rebbe traveled to the local mikvah and afterwards davened Shacharis in the beis medrash. Before davening the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the son of R' Yosef Leib Yozef of Boro Park. At around 1:10 davening concluded, and the Rebbe made a lechayim with the bar mitzvah bochur. At around 1:30 the Rebbe came out, where the students of our holy mosdos in Eretz Yisroel were waiting dressed in their Shabbos clothes, and they received the Rebbe's holy presence. The Rebbe passed between the children, who were lined up on both sides, niggunim were sung, and the Rebbe delivered words of Torah. The Rebbe based his words on the verse "For the entire congregation, all of them are holy," and expressed his emotion at meeting the first of the students of the mosdos which the Divrei Yoel zt"l established and which were continued by the Beirach Moshe zt"l. Afterwards the Rebbe gave warm, holy brachos.
Into the inner chamber at the guest residence in Savyon entered the askanim of the organization "V'shinantam" in Eretz Yisroel, who presented a report on their activities to the Rebbe, and the Rebbe blessed them with his holy brachos.
At around 2:40 the Rebbe set out for the holy site of Meron. Who shall ascend the mountain of Hashem, and who shall stand in His holy place? At around 4:50 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at "the holy mountain, the holy site of Meron," and traveled to his lodgings at the guest residence in the home of HaGaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Pomerantz, president of Machon Oz V'Hadar.
