Now, on Motzei Shabbos, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the levaya of the elderly HaGaon R' Akiva Tzvi Ganz z"l, a rebbi of young children, where the Rebbe delivered a eulogy. In the course of his words he noted that although, unfortunately, he left behind no lasting offspring, "those who lead the many to righteousness shall shine like the stars forever and ever," since a large portion of the community learned the alef-beis with him, and the beginning is equal to everything. Among other things, the Rebbe expressed that "he was a source of pride for Kiryas Joel." Afterwards the Rebbe accompanied the bier for several minutes.
May it be Hashem's will that no more destruction and ruin be heard in our borders, and may we hear and be told good tidings.
