🌴 Tuesday, Parshas Bamidbar — "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a 🌴

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in our yeshiva "Mesivta HaKedosha," the Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the son of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Kalman Halberstam shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Sanz in Kiryas Joel and menahel of the yeshiva.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 3, verse 2.

Afterwards a lechayim gathering was held before a large crowd in the main hall of the beis medrash, where the Rebbe spoke words of kodesh and based his remarks on the verse "Vayisu Mei'Refidim," and explained that "Vayisu Mei'Refidim" took place on Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan, and at that time the Jews did teshuva for neglecting Torah study. He also spoke words of preparation for Yom Tov Shavuos, that one must begin preparing with Torah study for Yom Tov Shavuos already from Erev Rosh Chodesh.

Afterwards the Rebbe blessed the bar mitzvah bochur, noting his great yichus, that he is a grandson of the holy Sanzer Rav zy"a, generation after generation. He also gave many blessings to the father, HaGaon Rabbi Kalman, the menahel of the yeshiva, and to all the talmidim.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe wrote a letter in the sefer Torah being written by the prominent R' Shlomo Yaakov Mertz, and in the sefer Torah being written by R' Yoshe Waldman.
Later in Williamsburg, the Rebbe wrote a letter in the sefer Torah being written by R' Hershel Deutsch.
