🌴 Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Emor, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a 🌴

The Kiddush Rabbah simcha of a grandson at the Rebbe, for the newborn daughter of his grandson HaRav Baruch Rokeach, son of the Karov Rebbe shlit"a and son-in-law of HaGaon Rav Dvei HaBeis Medrash Ohel Feiga shlit"a of Chadvan, and grandson of the Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a. During Shabbos, the grandfathers, the Dushinsky and Karov Rebbes shlit"a, were present in the Rebbe's holy company.

On Friday afternoon at 8:30 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash and went up to daven Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Chaim Nuchem, may he be well. After davening everyone went over to wish a good Shabbos. A short while after davening the Rebbe came in to the Friday night seudah together with the talmidim of the Mesivta. Eishes Chayil: the grandson, the bochur Meir Elimelech, son of HaGaon R' Baruch. Kol Mekadesh: Rabbi Nachum Elisha Horowitz of Williamsburg. Menucha V'Simcha: R' Yosef Menachem Fishman of Boro Park. The Rebbe said Torah on the Midrash "Iyov was challenging the suffering until he saw 'besukkos, besukkos, besukkos'," and explained it in the manner of a derush on the sugya of "doreshin techilah." In the middle of the Torah, the Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a arrived; the Rebbe seated him at the Rebbe's tish, and after the Torah honored him with a lechayim. Kah Echsof: the Karov Rebbe shlit"a. Bentching: the Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a. Stories and anecdotes were told about the holy R' Mend'ele of Rimanov zy"a, whose yahrzeit was on Shabbos, 19 Iyar. Kah Ribon Olam: R' Moshe Shlomo Rosen of Beit Shemesh. At the fruits the Rebbe gave to the Dushinsky Rebbe; the chasanim passed through, as did "Ki BaYom HaShevi'i": R' Dovid Tzvi Fischer of Yerushalayim. Afterward there was continued dancing in honor of Lag B'Omer, "Torso Magen Lanu." It ended at 1:40.

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe entered at 9:40. Pesukei D'Zimra: Rabbi Baruch Eckstein. The Rebbe went up to daven Shacharis. Hotzaah V'Hachnasah: HaRav R' Yoshe Ari Greenwald. The Rebbe made a Mi Sheberach and naming for the birth of his daughter, mazel tov. Shlishi: the Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a. Revii: the Rebbe's grandson, the baal simcha, Rabbi Baruch Rokeach. The Rebbe made a Mi Sheberach and naming for the birth of his daughter, mazel tov, to be named in Yisroel Alte Miriam, after the Rebbetzin of the Maharim Dushinsky a"h. Chamishi: HaGaon Rav Dvei HaBeis Medrash Ohel Feiga shlit"a of Chadvan. Shishi: the Rebbe. After his aliyah the Rebbe made a Mi Sheberach and naming for the birth of daughters for R' Avrohom Eli Friedrich, R' Isamar Tuvi Rubinstein, R' Gershon Ehrenthal, and R' Baruch Mordechai Schwartz. Kol Rinah V'Yeshuah B'Ohalei Tzaddikim. After davening, the Kiddush Rabbah simcha took place in the Polish shul of the great beis medrash. The Rebbe made Kiddush, joyous songs were sung, and the baal simcha said Torah. Afterward the Rebbe wished a lechayim to the baal simcha, the grandfathers and the entire tzibbur, and said Torah. It ended at 1:00.

For Mincha and Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe entered at 8:25. Mincha: R' Yaakov Hersh Heiman of Williamsburg. Hotzaah V'Hachnasah: R' Yoel Eckstein of Yerushalayim. Kohen: R' Yaakov Glick of Williamsburg. Levi: R' Chaim Yoel Rubinfeld. Shlishi: R' Yosef Itzkowitz of Boro Park. The Rebbe went up for Hagbah. Gelilah: Rabbi Yoel Zilber, son of the Av Beis Din Friedman. At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe honored R' Noach Gafen with Odeh. Shir HaMaalos: R' Mordechai Dovid Oesterreicher. At the Torah the Rebbe spoke on the Midrash "Iyov was challenging the suffering until he saw 'besukkos, besukkos, besukkos'," and continued with words of mussar on teshuva through engaging in Torah learning. Yedid Nefesh: R' Chaim Hersh Gold of Williamsburg. Kel Mistater: Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Rokeach, son of the Karov Rebbe. The Rebbe recited the blessing over the cup and honored the Dushinsky Rebbe with Sheva Brachos. Maariv: HaRav R' Avrohom Wieder. After Havdalah everyone went over to wish a gutte voch. It ended at 10:50.
