🌴 Continuation of Monday, Parshas Emor — Pesach Sheni, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a 🌴

Chasal Siddur Pesach K'hilchaso

At approximately 5:20 in the afternoon, the Rebbe arrived at the hall of Kinor David for the tisch of Pesach Sheni together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva Ketana "Heichal HaTorah" of Monroe. The Rebbe washed for challah, and before the soup the Rebbe ate matzah. During the seudah, melodies of Pesach and Yom Tov were sung. A kvitel was also presented to the Rebbe from the talmidim of the yeshiva, who had taken upon themselves not to speak before davening. The Rebbe delivered holy words, standing on the verse "And they shall eat the meat on that night, roasted over fire," and explained that one must serve Hashem with "fire", with heat and a blazing flame. Afterwards, "matzah crumbs" were brought in and the Rebbe distributed them to the entire assembly. For Birkas HaMazon, the Rebbe honored the menahel, HaRav HaGaon R' Yudel Stolzberg. Afterwards the Rebbe davened Mincha together with the talmidim of the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in the beautiful holy home of the Rebbe's father-in-law zy"a, from the mechutanim R' Alexander Yekusiel Landau and R' Ari Asher Indig.
