Massive preparations are underway by the Kiryas Joel kehilla administration, with leading askanim in intense meetings to work out all the details in the best possible way. The holy gathering will be held under the open sky on the huge expanse between the Beis Medrash HaGadol and Mivtzar HaKollelim. The area will be set up to accommodate the entire attending public, with special areas for women along Garfield Road from the Hess gas station to the commuter parking lot. All government regulations will be strictly followed.

- Intense preparations by the Kiryas Joel Public Safety to control traffic on the streets of Kiryas Joel

- Parking centers have been designated on both sides of the entrances to Kiryas Joel, and special shuttle transportation from there will bring the large crowd to and from the lighting ceremony

- Buses will circulate around Kiryas Joel to bring the huge crowd to the gathering. Residents of Kiryas Joel are asked to leave their cars at home and come on foot or with the shuttle buses

- Flatbed buses will stand ready immediately after the event to take the public home by the thousands. There will be separate buses for men and for women.
