The Rebbe entered for Shacharis at around 8:50.
- Baal Tefillah: R' Menachem Mendel Wertzberger (Williamsburg).
- Pesicha: R' Refael Wertheimer (Kiryas Joel).
- Baal Koreh: HaRav HaChosid R' Shlomo Rubinstein (Kiryas Joel).
- Kohen: Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Kahana.
- Levi: R' Yehoshua Zalman Wertzberger shlit"a (Kiryas Joel).
- Shlishi: the Rebbe shlit"a; it was purchased by R' Refael Wertheimer, and the Rebbe thanked him.
- Hagbah: R' Shmuel Krausz shlit"a (Kiryas Joel).
- Gelilah: the bochur Yaakov Yitzchak son of R' Michael Elimelech Reitchik shlit"a (Lakewood).

After davening, the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence, and a conversation developed about the customs of mourning during the Three Weeks and Tisha B'Av.

The Rebbe entered for Mincha at around 8:55. Baal Tefillah: R' Shmuel Krausz shlit"a. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning. At the time of Rabbeinu Tam, Maariv was davened.
