Friday, Erev Shabbos, Mattos-Masei 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe entered for Shacharis at around 8:40. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Avrohom Meir Rosenfeld (Kiryas Joel).

After davening, the new guests went over to greet the Rebbe. Afterwards, a lechayim gathering took place with the bar mitzvah bochur in the heichal of the beis medrash. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed the bar mitzvah bochur and the entire assembly.

Afterwards, the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence. On the way, a conversation developed about learning Chumash with Rashi at night.
