Friday, Erev Shabbos Parshas Korach 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yaakov Yoel Brunner, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the beis medrash of Kollel Erev Shabbos together with the kollel avreichim for chasanim of Mivtzar HaKollelim in Kiryas Joel. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Avrohom Tzvi Weiss.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the main hall of the beis medrash. Several songs were sung, and the Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochur, HaRav Wolf Aharon Teller shlit"a, director of Mivtzar HaKollelim, HaRav Yosef Mordechai Wagschal shlit"a, rav of the beis medrash of Kollel Erev Shabbos, and all the chasanim and the heads of the chaburos. The Rebbe delivered words of Torah and guidance on the importance of sitting and learning as a chosson within a framework, and the responsibility resting on each one to prepare for the wedding by learning all the halachos one needs to know, so that it may be "a man and wife, the Shechinah rests between them." He concluded with his holy blessing.
