Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:

- The bochur Yosef Mendel Friedrich.
The Rebbe lit candles and went to the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of his ancestor, the holy Rabbi Aharon T"B zt"l, Av Beis Din of Volove, as the heichal of the yeshiva's beis medrash was donated by the holy Rebbe, the Beirach Moshe zy"a, in memory of his father-in-law, the baal hilula zt"l.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the heichal of the beis medrash. Several nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim, and the talmidim of the yeshiva. He also delivered words of preparation for Yom Tov Shavuos, and concluded with his holy blessing.
Afterwards, the Rebbe went down to the lowest floor, where a branch of the holy mosad Shaarei Chemla is located. The Rebbe looked in on the children with great emotion and gave his holy blessing.

At around 12:20, the Rebbe went over to our new beis medrash 'Ateres Zekeinim' on Forest for the gathering of the pouring of the foundations for the mikvah of the beis medrash. The Rebbe entered the heichal of the beis medrash and looked over the construction work, and heard a report from the contractor, R' Binyon Klein.
Afterwards, a lechayim gathering took place. A pleasant conversation developed with HaGaon HaGadol, the Dayan and Moreh Tzedek shlit"a. Joyous nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and offered blessings to the dayan shlit"a, to his son HaGaon Rabbi Lipa Berkowitz shlit"a, moreh tzedek in our kehilla, to R' Shimon Moshe Kepetch, one of the leading supporters of the beis medrash, and to the entire gathering.
Then the Rebbe went over to the mikvah and poured into the mikvah, and honored the dayan shlit"a and the supporters of the beis medrash to pour into the mikvah as well. The event concluded at around 12:45.

Afterwards, the Rebbe went to the home of his grandson, HaGaon Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Rokeach shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Kol Eliyahu, son-in-law of the Rav of Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a, for the chalaka (upsherin) of his son, the child Pinchas Mordechai. The Rebbe cut a few hairs and put on the kappel and tzitzis on him, and gave his holy blessing.
Then the Rebbe washed for a Shacharis meal. Pleasant conversations about stories of tzaddikim and customs of Yisroel continued, and nigunim of simcha were sung. The Rebbe made the blessing over the cup. It concluded at around 1:30.
