Monday, Parshas Nasso — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yoel Perl, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Shlomo Michael Markovitch.
- The bochur Shmuel Binyamin Hirsch.

At the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up as the third aliya (Shlishi). After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 30, verse 1. Afterward, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At around 7:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy residence on Zanz Court.

Yechidus hours were from 8:30 until 12:45 at night in his holy residence on Uhel Court.

At around 10:45 the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy residence, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the chosson, the choshuve bochur Shneur Zalman Eckstein, ny"j, son of HaRav R' Yoel Eckstein shlit"a, to the kallah, daughter of R' Zalman Leib Spitzer.
The Rebbe read the tenaim, drank a lechayim, and wished mazel tov to the chosson, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the entire gathering. Afterward the chosson said the pshetl and the customary songs were sung.

At around 11:30 the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Yekusiel Yitzchak Frankel and R' Yoshe Leib Stein.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:45. The Rebbe lit candles and went to the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of his ancestor, HaGaon HaKadosh Rabbi Aharon Teitelbaum zt"l, Av Beis Din of Volove.

After Maariv, the lead askanim of the Kiryas Joel headquarters, who led the historic A-B campaign of Mosdos Yatev Lev, entered for yechidus. The Rebbe thanked them greatly for their tremendous work and blessed them. The Rebbe offered special thanks to the members of the Vaad Baalei Batim of Kiryas Joel, R' Avrohom Yehoshua Heshel HaKohen Glantz, R' Yoel Bernatta, and R' Chaim Hersh Oberlander, and blessed them.

Afterward the Rebbe connected by telephone with the headquarters of the campaign in Williamsburg, who led the gigantic campaign to a maximum success of over 10 million dollars.

The Rebbe warmly thanked, first and foremost, R' Yechezkel Dovid Berkowitz and R' Yoel Schwartz, and R' Avrohom Brach, who invested tremendous efforts in the success of the campaign, saying that the mosdos were established by the Rebbe's uncle z"l, and "I am sure he will be grateful to all those who worked for this holy purpose, and to all the donors of the campaign; they should be blessed with all good."
