Sunday, Parshas Bamidbar — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Branch Kedushas Yoel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yoel, son of Dovid Menashe Frankel.
- The bochur Dovid Wertheimer.
- The bochur Yehuda Yechezkel Meshulam Teller.
- The bochur Yechezkel Shraga Moskowitz.
- The bochur Yoel, son of Moshe HaKohen Glanzer.

After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 30, verse 11. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis, askanim of the "Mifal Chezkas Taharah" under the auspices of the Va'ad HaMikvaos of our holy kehilla in Kiryas Joel entered the Rebbe's room. They are engaged in following up on and ensuring that many mikvaos around the world are kosher in the highest standard of kashrus and meet the standards of genuine Chassidic Yidden. The askanim discussed various questions regarding the halachos of mikvaos with the Rebbe shlit"a, and the Rebbe gave his holy instruction and bestowed his holy blessing.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe made his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Yeshiva, Branch Divrei Yoel, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. Around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

Entry for private audiences (kabbalas kahal) at the Rebbe's home was from 8:10 until 12:10 at night, on Ohel Court.

Around 10:45, the Rebbe went down to the halls of his home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim, HaRav R' Shimon Ezer Teller and HaRav R' Bentzion Moshe Itzkowitz.

During the time of the audiences, the Tosh Rebbe shlit"a, who was in Kiryas Joel for a family simcha, paid a visit to the Rebbe. A pleasant conversation ensued about stories of tzaddikim of the holy Rebbe R' Meir'l of Premishlan zy"a. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim, bestowed his holy blessing, and accompanied him out to the street.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 12:10 and counted Sefirah before the amud.
