The first days of Yom Tov Pesach in the "B'tzeil HaKodesh" of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, in the midst of our holy community of Kiryas Joel.

At candle-lighting time the Rebbe entered the main beis medrash for Maariv and approached [the amud] for Hallel. After davening he went up to the Aron Kodesh and wished everyone a good Yom Tov, and then went to the mikvah and home. At home the Rebbe said "Pekuda Basar Da" and entered the holy Seder, where the hundreds of chasanim, talmidim of our holy yeshiva, merited to take part in the holy service, "like olive shoots around" the recital of the Haggadah, divrei Torah, the mitzvos of the night, and the recital of Hallel with outpouring of the soul. During the Seder the Rebbe said Torah 13 times. At the first Seder the Rebbe ate the afikoman before chatzos. They finished at around 3:30. In his room the Rebbe said Shir HaShirim.
On the first day the Rebbe entered for Shacharis at 11:00 and approached [the amud] for Hallel. Before Mussaf the Rebbe went out and entered wearing the kittel, and approached for "Tal" with outpouring of the soul.
"The sound of joyous song and salvation is in the tents of the righteous." After davening the simcha of the bris milah took place of the grandson of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, the son born to his grandson Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Rokeach, son-in-law of HaGaon Rabbi Av Beis Din of the Yismach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a, "and his name shall be called in Israel" Meir, after his grandfather the Kozlov Rebbe zt"l. At the afternoon meal the seudas bris took place and they sang in honor of the simcha. HaGaon R' Shimon Zev was honored with bentching and sang the Harachaman. At the meal the chasanim from out of town also ate.

"As he did on the first, so he did on the second": the holy Seder of the second night. The Rebbe said Torah 13 times. At around 3:30 the Rebbe arrived in the main beis medrash and counted Sefira in a voice "hewing flames of fire," and then continued with the zemiros and divrei Torah in the main beis medrash.
On the second day the Rebbe entered for Shacharis at 11:05. Mussaf was led before the amud by HaGaon the Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Kiryas Joel shlit"a. At the meal the chasanim from out of town also ate. HaGaon R' Yoel shlit"a, Rav of the Beis Boruch beis medrash, was honored with bentching.

"And You gave us, Hashem our G-d, festivals and times for joy, this day of the Festival of Matzos"
