Sunday, Bahab, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 30, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 7:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zans St.

Entry hours in Kiryas Joel were from 8:00 until 12:45 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel St.

During the entry hours, HaGaon Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Finkel shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of the Mir in Eretz Yisroel, visited Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation took place about the history of the Mir yeshiva over the years, and the Rebbe gave him of his holy blessing.

HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Asher Margaliot shlit"a, Rav of Kehal Ohel Moshe in Vienna, Austria, also came in to Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation developed, and the Rebbe gave him of his holy blessing.

A signing of documents also took place, in which R' Meir Hirsch of Eretz Yisroel and the mosdos in Kiryas Joel purchased the merit of the mikvah floor in the new wing of the Even Tzedek beis medrash for the large sum of half a million dollars. A pleasant conversation took place about the expansion of the holy precincts of the beis medrash.
The Rebbe signed the documents together with the donor, drank a lechayim, and blessed R' Meir, the Rav of the Even Tzedek beis medrash shlit"a, and the members of the building fund committee.

At around 9:45, the Rebbe went down to the halls of his holy home, where a meeting of askanim took place for close to a hundred men, including new askanim, in advance of the big dinner for the benefit of Mosdos Yatev Lev for all the young avreichim of our holy kehilla residing in Kiryas Joel, which will take place this Wednesday, IY"H. The Rebbe delivered words of Torah on the verse "Im bechukosai teileichu" — that they should toil in Torah, and emphasized the obligation of every member of the kehilla to support Mosdos Yatev Lev, which was foremost and most sacred to the Rebbes of previous generations zy"a. Even those who cannot be donors can be askanim, to raise greater sums in order to establish a firm foundation for Mosdos Yatev Lev. The Rebbe concluded with his holy blessing.
Afterwards, all the askanim went over to hand their pledge forms to the Rebbe shlit"a, and the Rebbe gave his holy blessing to each one individually.

Then, at around 10:00, the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Yisroel Yuda Gutman and R' Shimon Herskovits.

The head askanim who are at the helm of the great Hadlakah Rabbasi gathering of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a on the night of Lag B'Omer, in the presence of multitudes of Jews, no evil eye, also came in to Kiryas Joel. The askanim gave a report on the many preparations for the great Hadlakah gathering, and the Rebbe gave them of his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:45 and counted Sefirah before the amud.
