Tuesday, Parshas Emor 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis at the Yeshiva Ketana Zera Kodesh branch, under the direction of R' Yoel Asher Weider shlit"a, on the occasion of the hilula kadisha of the holy Baal Zera Kodesh of Raphshitz zy"a.
Upon arriving at the yeshiva, the Rebbe first entered the heichal of the beis medrash and looked over the learning.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- the son of HaGaon R' Yoel Hersh Kahn shlit"a, a moreh tzedek in our holy kehilla in Williamsburg.
- the son of R' Alter Teitelbaum shlit"a.
Afterwards, the Rebbe lit candles in honor of the yahrzeit.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the heichal of the beis medrash. Several nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and gave good wishes to the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim and the talmidim of the yeshiva. The Rebbe delivered words of Torah and mentioned that the holy Raphshitzer Rav zy"a used to instill holiness into a Jew whom he had inspired to true teshuva. The Rebbe concluded with his holy blessing.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Yeshiva Beirach Moshe branch, where he learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At around 6:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva. Before Mincha, the Rebbe lit candles in honor of the hilula kadisha.

In the evening, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly yechidus hours.

Upon arriving in Williamsburg at around 8:30, the Rebbe first went over to the hall of Ginas Esther, where an 'Asifas Sarei HaAlafim' was held for over a hundred askanim who have taken upon themselves to raise large annual sums for the benefit of Mosdos Yatev Lev among the members of our community living in Williamsburg and Boro Park.
The Gaon Av Beis Din of Williamsburg shlit"a continued with his address, and spoke about the connection that every one of our chassidim must feel to Mosdos Yatev Lev, with several personal stories about the greatness of supporting Mosdos Yatev Lev.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and gave good wishes to the Gaon Av Beis Din of Williamsburg shlit"a, to HaGaon R' Hersh Elimelech Teitelbaum shlit"a, rav of the Tefilla L'Moshe beis medrash in Boro Park, and to the entire assembly.
The Rebbe then delivered words of Torah, and repeated the words of yesterday's asifa in Kiryas Joel, that the purpose of the asifa is to establish a firm foundation for Mosdos Yatev Lev through fixed monthly donations from thousands of members of our community. Besides the workers in the office who raise money all year, many more askanim need to join to bring in new donations, each one among his acquaintances. The heavy deficit of Mosdos Yatev Lev is not that money is lacking, but that askanim are lacking. When new askanim join, it will be possible to cover the institution month by month. The Rebbe concluded with words of chizuk and blessing for all the askanim.

Afterwards, the chairman, R' Dovid Shlomo Laub shlit"a, and R' Shlomo Zalman Spitzer spoke, and the latter presented the order of the campaign.
All the askanim had the opportunity to go over personally to hand in the pledge form, and the Rebbe gave good wishes to each one individually.
The Rebbe left the asifa at around 9:10.

Yechidus hours in the Rebbe's home on Hooper St. ran from 9:15 until 1:15 after midnight.

During the yechidus hours, the administration of Kollel Shomrei HaChomos came in to receive the Rebbe's blessing on the occasion of the upcoming annual dinner, which will take place this Thursday night, Pesach Sheni, in Williamsburg. The Rebbe heard a report on their recent activities, and the administration thanked the Rebbe for the address he delivered in the kollel's heichal during the winter trip to Eretz Yisroel, at the holy site of Meron, which gave great chizuk to the kollel. The Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing on them.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30 and counted Sefira before the amud, and then continued receiving the public.
