Sunday, Parshas Emor, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yoel, son of R' Feldman.
- The bochur Yoel, son of R' Yechezkel Rosenberg.

After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur and spoke about the war situation in Eretz Yisroel. The Rebbe quoted a Chasam Sofer that if a Jew kills a gentile and one does not conduct oneself properly, one must, Heaven forbid, pay with Jewish lives. At the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash, Hashem poured out His wrath on wood and stones, and no Jewish lives were lost. Now, in our times, when the impure state is killing off entire populations of gentiles, people are rejoicing, but who knows what we will have to pay for this. The Rebbe also presented a straightforward explanation from his ancestor, the holy R' Elazar Nissan zy"a, on the saying 'Any generation in whose days the Beis Hamikdash is not rebuilt, it is as if it was destroyed in its days': if one mourns the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash, it is each year as if the Beis Hamikdash was destroyed anew, and there is an atonement for all of Klal Yisroel each year, and no Jewish lives are lost.
Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 2:30 the Rebbe traveled to Skver, arriving at around 3:00 at the home of his brother-in-law, the Skverer Rebbe shlit"a, for an important meeting together with the Skverer Rebbe shlit"a and the Vizhnitz Monsey Rebbe shlit"a, and several leading askanim of the Chareidi world and political officials, where they discussed various matters of general concern at length. The meeting ended at around 4:10, and the Rebbe returned home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

At around 7:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy residence on Tzanz Street.

Reception hours were held from 8:20 until 12:00 at night at his holy residence on Uhel Street.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:40, and after Maariv the Rebbe recited Kiddush Levana in front of his holy residence.

At around 10:30 the Rebbe went down to the halls of his holy residence, where the Rebbe read the tenaim for the mechutanim.

- R' Yosef Sroga and R' Avrohom Yitzchak Keira.
