Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Acharei Mos-Kedoshim, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Friday night at around 8:20 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and went to the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Moshe Tambor, and the Rebbe went to the amud for Sefiras HaOmer. They finished at around 9:50. The tzibbur went over to wish a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At around 10:40 the Rebbe entered the tish in the Heichal HaMesivta together with the talmidei hayeshiva, and began, as is his holy custom, Shalom Aleichem with feeling and sweetness.

- Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Yissachar Ber Teitelbaum, son of the Rebbe's son-in-law (chasan) HaGaon, Rav of the Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a.
- Hagbahas HaKos: R' Yoel Weiss, son of R' Chaim.
- Kol Mekadesh: R' Shlomo Gestetner (Bitter).
- Menucha V'Simcha: Rabbi Eliezer Chaim Goldstein shlit"a, son of the Skaliya Rebbe shlit"a (Boro Park).

The Rebbe said Torah on the verse 'After the death of the two sons of Aharon' and explained, by way of drush, the sugya of whether one may expound the juxtaposition of verses (semuchin).

Stories and accounts: This week the Rebbe shlit"a related about the holy Baal Zera Kodesh of Ropshitz zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls on Tuesday, 11 Iyar.

- Kah Ribon Olam: the baal simcha, the Rebbe's grandson Rabbi Meir Yehuda Ashkenazi shlit"a, son-in-law (chasan) of HaGaon, Rav of the Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a.
The new chasanim went over to take fruit, and the Shalom Zachar took place for the Rebbe's grandson, the newborn son of Rabbi Meir Yehuda Ashkenazi shlit"a. The Rebbe tasted some bundlach, and they sang joyous melodies. The baal simcha poured beer, and the Rebbe drank l'chaim and wished the baal simcha and the HaGaon, Rav of the Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, mazel tov.

- Az B'Yom HaShvi'i: the Rebbe's grandson Rabbi Chaim Hersh Teitelbaum shlit"a (Boro Park), son of the Rebbe's son-in-law (chasan) HaGaon, Rav of the Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a.

U'v'Yom HaShabbos

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:40.
- Brachos: Rabbi Yechezkel Gelbstein shlit"a.
- Pesukei D'Zimra: Rabbi Shraga Gandel shlit"a.
The Rebbe recited Zachor pasuk by pasuk and went to the amud for Shacharis. For Chazaras HaShatz he sent his grandson Rabbi Yoel Ashkenazi shlit"a (Williamsburg), son of the Rebbe's son-in-law (chasan) HaGaon, Rav of the Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a.

- Hotzaah V'Hachnasah: R' Moshe Eliezer Neiman.
- Pesukei Shema Yisroel: R' Bentzion Klein.
Aliyos.
- Kohen: R' Yitzchak Friedman.

After davening a bris took place for the newborn son of Rabbi Yoel Neiman shlit"a, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
They finished at around 12:35.

Afterward the Rebbe went over to the home of R' Yechezkel Frankel, where a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yaakov Simcha Shehr, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

Raava D'Raavin

The Rebbe entered for Mincha at around 8:20.
- Baal Tefilla: R' Yudel Schwartz, son of R' Naftali Shmuel.
- Hotzaah V'Hachnasah: R' Yisroel Spitzer.

After the leining, the Mi Sheberach for those fasting on Behab was made.

At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe honored the singing of zemiros.

The Rebbe said Torah on the verse 'You shall be holy' and explained that in our times, when one finds himself in an impure land full of filth and is not privileged to hear the heavenly voice that emanated from Har Chorev which awakens to teshuva, Hashem sends down Yaakov Avinu to awaken the Jews to teshuva. But this is only if a person makes for himself fences and safeguards, especially in matters of arayos, in speech, deed and thought.

The Rebbe recited the bracha over the cup.

After Havdalah the tzibbur went over to wish a good week.
They finished at around 10:30.

A group of bochurim from the Bobov yeshiva gedolah in Boro Park, who had spent Shabbos b'tzeil hakodesh, entered the Rebbe's holy residence. The Rebbe inquired about their yeshiva studies, and the bochurim went over to receive the holy bracha.

At around 11:30 a ceremony of writing letters took place at the Rebbe's holy residence for the Sefer Torah being written by R' Yaakov Mordechai Gross, son of R' Leibish, which will be brought in on Lag B'Omer, IY"H. The Rebbe wrote in several letters, drank l'chaim, and bestowed from his holy blessing.
