Thursday 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Shmuel Yaakov Schwartz.
- The bochur Yosef Farkash.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe performed hagbah, and after davening led the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 30, verse 2. Afterwards, the talmidim of the yeshiva went over to greet the Rebbe on the occasion of the new zman. A lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

At around 7:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz Court.

Yechidus hours were from 8:30 until 12:45 at night in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court.

At around 10:30, the Rebbe went down to the halls of his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Yoel Binyamin Zin and R' Mendel Shlomo Rosenfeld in the tenaim hall of his holy home.

During yechidus hours, askanim of Merkaz Ezra V'Yoetz of the USA came in together with the askan R' Shmuel Yakobovitch of Yerushalayim to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing on the occasion of opening a new office in Yerushalayim, to meet the great demand of bochurim and young men who turn to the Merkaz for advice and guidance regarding the decree of drafting yeshiva students. The askanim delivered a report and showed the plans of the large new office being built for the benefit of the Merkaz, and the Rebbe shared with them from his holy blessing.

Also coming in for yechidus was HaGaon Rabbi Tzvi Greenhaus shlit"a, rosh kollel of Kollel Knesses Chizkiyahu and one of the founders of the girls' school "Sarah B'Ohel" in Eretz Yisroel. A pleasant conversation took place about the Sarah B'Ohel institution, and the Rebbe shared with him from his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:45.
