Rejoice and Be Glad on Simchas Torah

Report from yesterday's gathering, the "Hachnasas Sefer Torah and Chanukas HaBayis" for the new "HaMaspik" resort, headed by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Upon arrival, the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah at the gate of the building, and afterwards wrote a letter in the Sefer Torah, in which the Rabbinic philanthropist R' Meir Wertheimer also wrote a letter. The Rebbe danced with the Torah on the grounds, followed by HaGaon HaDomatz shlit"a and the dayanim of our holy kehilla. After the procession with the Sefer Torah, the Rebbe brought the Torah into the heichal of the beis medrash and conducted the Hakafos as customary - the Rebbe additionally stopped to dance in front of the special-needs children who learn in the institution - and afterwards recited "L'Dovid Mizmor." Afterwards, the philanthropist R' Meir, together with the administration, showed the Rebbe the buildings, as the Rebbe looked around with great nachas. Later, the Rebbe attended the seudah for the completion of the Torah and the Chanukas HaBayis, where R' Yonason Schwartz spoke, describing the opposition encountered during the founding of the institution and the constant encouragement of the Rebbe, which gave the strength to continue. Afterwards the Rebbe delivered words of holy Torah about the greatness of such an institution and bestowed his holy blessings. After the seudah, the Rebbe looked around the building at the kitchen department and then returned to his holy home.
