Report
"Open for me the gates of righteousness"

Last night at around 10:10, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Williamsburg, where the Rebbe immediately traveled to our new and magnificent beis medrash, "Bedford Park" – the Brach building, where the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the entrance to the beis medrash and then conducted a lechayim gathering. HaGaon Rabbi Shabsi Kestenbaum shlit"a, dayan of the beis medrash, spoke, as did the Rav of the kehilla, our teacher HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of the holy community and Rosh Mesivta, shlit"a, and the Rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon Rabbi Meir Zwibel shlit"a. Afterwards the Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon all the assembled, and delivered holy words, speaking – after the Torah thoughts – about the tremendous joy of the mitzvah of a chanukas habayis of a beis medrash, and spoke in praise of the philanthropist, the distinguished leader R' Avrohom Brach, a great askan in our holy kehilla, for this is the "fifth" magnificent building he has donated for our holy kehilla of Williamsburg!! – the beis medrash in Kiryas Barech Moshe, Woodburn, the Machane Tze'irim beis medrash in Monsey, the Beis Menachem Tzvi beis medrash in Walabat, the beis medrash in the Cascade neighborhood, and now this magnificent and splendid building, the Bedford Park beis medrash – and that the trait of tzedakah goes back to his parents, the distinguished leader R' Shmuel Chaim and the distinguished leader R' Yechezkel a"h. The Rebbe expressed in his holy words: "...the greatest and strongest donor here in the kehilla is the donor of this beis medrash..." and bestowed lengthier holy blessings upon the donor and the entire tzibur. At around 11:15 the Rebbe lit 5 candles and approached the amud for Maariv in the main hall of the beis medrash, on the occasion of the yahrzeit of the Bobbe, the Rebbetzin, the righteous Bracha Sima a"h, the pure wife of our master and teacher, the holy Baal Eitz Chaim zy"a.
