Shabbos Parshas Beshalach – Shabbos Shirah, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before candle lighting, the Rebbe put on the shtreimel for the chasanim.
- The chasan Shmuel Yuda, son of Asher Anshil Zaldan.
- The chasan Shimon, son of Chaim Ephraim Weiss.
- The chasan Elimelech, son of Yoshe Leib Stein.

On Friday night at around 5:50, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and went up to daven Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Shalom Zaldan. They finished at around 7:30. The congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At around 8:55, the Rebbe entered the tish in the Heichal HaMesivta together with the talmidim of the yeshiva, and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem, with emotion and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, Rabbi Yissachar Ber Taub, son of the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of the beis medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a. Hagbahas HaKos: Rabbi Yitzchak Kaufman shlit"a.

The Rebbe Shlit"a honored people with the zemiros.
- Kol Mekadesh: HaRav HaChassid R' Aharon Moshe Slager (Williamsburg).
- Menucha V'Simcha: HaRav HaChassid R' Yaakov Chaim Deutsch (Williamsburg).

The Rebbe said Torah on the Midrash "The sea saw and fled – what did it see? The Baraisa of Rabbi Yishmael," and explained, in the manner of a drasha, the sugya of "aseh docheh lo sa'aseh."

- Birkas Hamazon: the Rebbe's grandson, Rabbi Pinchas Mordechai Meisels shlit"a, son of the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of the beis medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a.

Stories and anecdotes: this week the Rebbe Shlit"a told stories about the Pnei Yehoshua zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls on Sunday, 14 Shevat.

The new chasanim went over to take fruit, and a Shalom Zachor took place at R' Avrohom Yoshe Eckstein.
- Az B'Yom HaShvi'i: HaRav HaChassid R' Mendel Frankel.
Afterwards they continued singing "B'vik'acha Yam Suf" in honor of Shabbos Shirah. They finished at around 11:40.

And on Shabbos Day

The Rebbe entered to daven at around 9:30. The Rebbe went up to the amud for Pesukei D'Zimra and Shacharis in honor of Shabbos Shirah, and led Hallel HaGadol and the Shirah verse by verse with fiery enthusiasm.

At the Kiddush in his holy residence, joyous melodies were sung in honor of the simcha of the Kiddusha Rabbah for the birth of a daughter to the Rebbe's grandson, Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Yukel Teitelbaum shlit"a, and the Rebbe wished mazel tov to the grandfather, the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of the beis medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a, and his family.

Raava D'Raavin

The Rebbe entered for Mincha at around 5:40.

The Rebbe said Torah on the verse "And the waters split," and explained that at the Exodus from Egypt, Klal Yisroel were aroused to teshuva through the words of rebuke that Yaakov Avinu spoke before his passing. This continues to this very day, and especially now in the days of Shovavim, the power of teshuva of Yaakov Avinu is aroused, which gives every single person an opportunity to do teshuva, regardless of the situation he finds himself in.

The Rebbe recited the blessing over the cup and said Sheva Berachos.
