Sunday, Parshas Vayeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in the resort city of Palm Springs, California

At around 8:45 the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered the local beis medrash for Shacharis. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Reuven Eliezer Schwartz (Monsey).

After davening, the group that had chosen to spend Shabbos B'tzeil HaKodesh came over to bid farewell. Afterward, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the hall of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon, at around 5:40, the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha. Baal Tefillah: R' Yaakov Yosef Pilaff (Kiryas Joel). Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, at around 6:10, Maariv was davened. Baal Tefillah: HaRav R' Yoel Eckstein shlit"a.
