Tuesday, Parshas Vayechi — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before davening, a bris of a newborn son took place by R' Yechiel Rubin, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, son of HaGaon R' Kalman Halberstam shlit"a, the menahel of the yeshiva.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah.

After Shacharis, at around 12:40, the Rebbe arrived at the kever of our holy Rebbes in honor of the simcha of the wedding of his grandson, the chasan, son of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Beis Boruch shlit"a, which will take place in the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Kiryas Joel.
Upon entering the ohel, the Rebbe lit candles at the kevarim of the holy Rebbes, the Divrei Yoel and the Beirach Moshe zy"a, and at the kever of his mother, the Rebbetzin a"h.
Then the Rebbe recited the tefilla attributed to the holy Yismach Moshe zy"a, recited the chapters of Sefer Revi'i as is customary, and said Kaddish, and afterwards read kvitlach for an extended time, during which songs of inspiration were sung. The Rebbe prostrated himself at the kevarim of our holy Rebbes and of his mother, the Rebbetzin a"h. They finished at around 1:15.

At around 5:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz St.
Baal tefilla: HaRav R' Yoel Weinberger shlit"a.
Pesicha: HaRav R' Anshil Weiss shlit"a.
Baal korei: R' Shlomo Zalman Stein, a longtime mispallel.
Kohen: R' Shmuel HaKohen Friedman, a longtime mispallel.
Levi: R' Simcha Yisroel Apfel.
Maftir: the Rebbe shlit"a.
Hagbah: HaGaon R' Yoel Yitzchak Stern shlit"a, dayan of Beis Medrash Dinov, Kiryas Joel.
Gelilah: the bochur Moshe, son of Aharon Yosef Berger.

At the time of Rabbeinu Tam, around 5:50, the Rebbe davened Maariv.

At 7:00 the Rebbe traveled into Williamsburg for the weekly zmanei kenisah. Upon arriving in Williamsburg, the Rebbe went up to a lechayim gathering in the home of the distinguished philanthropist R' Shlomo Zalman Feder, in honor of his many accomplishments and tremendous donations to the Rebbe's mosdos everywhere, and in particular his great donation toward finalizing the purchase of a large parcel of land for building a new, magnificent beis medrash of our holy kehilla in the Zera Kodesh neighborhood in Kiryas Joel HaMeuchedes.
A pleasant conversation developed, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly blessed R' Shlomo and his family, his esteemed father-in-law HaGaon R' Chaim Leib Lebovits shlit"a, the other donors and communal leaders, the distinguished philanthropist R' Yoel Schwartz and the distinguished philanthropist R' Yechezkel Brach, and the entire public.
Afterwards the Rebbe gave R' Shlomo a gift of a leather-bound Sefer Lev Aharon. They concluded at around 9:00.

The zmanei kenisah in the Rebbe's holy home on Hewes St. ran from 9:15 until 1:00 at night.

During the zmanei kenisah, a hatchalas kesivas sefer Torah took place by the mispallelim of Beis Medrash Tefilla L'Moshe of our holy kehilla in Williamsburg. The Rebbe wrote the first letters and drank lechayim. A pleasant conversation took place with HaGaon R' Hersh Elimelech Teitelbaum shlit"a, rav of the beis medrash, and the Rebbe bestowed from his holy blessing upon all the mispallelim of the beis medrash.

Also taking place was the chalake simcha of the Rebbe's grandson, the child Yitzchak Tuvia Rubin, son of Rabbi Shalom Yechezkel Shraga Rubin shlit"a, son-in-law of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Yisroel Shalom shlit"a. The Rebbe cut a few hairs and put on the kappel and tzitzis, then drank lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing.

Also entering the Rebbe's chamber were HaGaon R' Yechezkel Dovid Singer shlit"a together with his father HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Shmuel Tzvi shlit"a of Alexander and his father-in-law HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Yekusiel Teitelbaum shlit"a of Uhel, to receive his holy blessing in honor of the simcha of the engagement of his daughter, the kallah, to the chasan, grandson of the Rebbe, son of the Rebbe's brother-in-law, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Ohel Feige shlit"a. A pleasant conversation developed about the great yichus of the shidduch, and the Rebbe bestowed from his holy blessing upon the esteemed grandfathers, the mechutan, the kallah and the entire family.

After the zmanei kenisah, around 1:10, the Rebbe arrived at the vort and lechayim gathering at the home of the mechutan in honor of the engagement of his grandson, the chasan Rabbi Chaim Hersh Rokeach shlit"a, son of the Rebbe's brother-in-law, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Beis Chaim Yaakov shlit"a, to the kallah, daughter of HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Yaakov Shraga Feivel Singer shlit"a, rav of Beis Medrash Tiferes Shmuel Alexander in Williamsburg, son of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Alexander shlit"a, and son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Yekusiel Teitelbaum shlit"a of Uhel. A pleasant conversation developed about the great yichus of the chasan and kallah.
The kinyan was made, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing upon the chasan and the mechutanim, the esteemed grandfathers, and the entire family. On the way out, the Rebbe wished the kallah well.
At around 1:30 the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
