Report of the Hachnasas Sefer Torah Celebration #2

"Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may enter"

The joy and excitement could be felt in the air. All the benches, with all their wings, of the gigantic beis medrash were packed in black, filled beyond capacity, with tens of thousands of Jews pressed together. "The doorposts shook" as the Rebbe entered the beis medrash with the sefer Torah in his hand. Fathers lifted their children onto their shoulders so they could catch a glimpse of the tzaddik, while the beis medrash rose up in fiery hakafos and the Rebbe danced around the beis medrash like Simchas Torah, "its flashes are flashes of holy fire."
After dancing for a longer time, the Rebbe went up to the bimah, where warm melodies of Kabbalas HaTorah were sung, while the Rebbe held the Torah in his hands and wept with tears, "And enlighten our eyes in Your Torah." Among others, the entire Ahavah Rabbah was sung as on Yom Tov of Shavuos.
Then the Rebbe delivered a fiery address. The Rebbe explained, before all Israel, the letters of the holy forefathers, and that we believe what is written in the Zohar, that the holy forefathers come down to rejoice in the joy of their descendants, and they are also present. Oh, how can one take up the pen to describe how the pillar of the prayers of all of Klal Yisroel stands and pleads with the Ribbono Shel Olam like a son who importunes his father: "Master of the world, help me, that we, my descendants, and my descendants' descendants, may all know Your name and study Torah for its own sake," "that I may continue to sit in the tent of Torah, to spread Torah, to carry the learning forward to the conclusion in accordance with halacha." Afterwards the Rebbe used the time to arouse everyone to accept good resolutions: "We must continue the path of our forefathers and our Rabbeim without any change, both in the chinuch of boys and in the chinuch of girls." Not to have devices with WhatsApp and the like. He also addressed the women's section regarding all matters of tznius, and brought out that a woman can be an "ikeres" of the home (the mainstay of the home) or an "okeres" of the home (one who uproots it); everything depends on her conduct and how she carries herself.
He bestowed many abundant blessings in every respect, and explained what this has to do with Simchas Torah.

Afterwards they continued with melodies of arousal: "If I have found favor in your eyes, O King, let my soul be granted to me as my request, and my people as my petition," "Strive and increase supplication before the King, God, exalted and lofty."
After the hearts had been poured out, the entire assembly, led by the Rebbe, broke out in holy dancing: "Rejoice and be glad on Simchas Torah, for it is our strength and our light," "I am a servant of the Holy One, blessed is He, before Whom I bow, and before the glory of His Torah at every time," "And purify our hearts to serve You in truth," "May it be Your will that You open my heart in Your Torah." And then the "sixth hakafah." After dancing for a longer time, the Rebbe went up to the platform where the Aron Kodesh was, and fiery holy dancing broke out for the "seventh hakafah" with excitement and supreme joy. How magnificent was the sight when the Rebbe turned with the sefer Torah in his hands toward the open Aron Kodesh and threw himself into the Aron Kodesh, bursting into weeping, with tears, like a son who importunes his father, while the Tal melody of the holy Rebbe R' Mendele of Rimanov was sung. Then at 5:45 the Rebbe recited Ledavid Mizmor with great arousal, followed by Mincha, "in the multitude of people is the glory of the King."

Fortunate is the eye that saw a holy congregation rejoicing on Simchas Torah and in the joy of our Rebbe
